Circa £70,000 | Stevenage | Hybrid Working Our client, a leading defence organisation, is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead a team of safety engineers. What you'll be doing:

Team Leadership:

Lead and develop a team of safety engineers, ensuring they are effectively resourced and supported. Safety Case Management:

Oversee the delivery of safety case reports, including hazard analysis, functional failure analysis, and FTA. System Engineering Integration:

Ensure seamless integration of safety and system engineering processes, aligning with Def Stan 00-056. Stakeholder Management:

Liaise with design engineers, project controllers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Technical Expertise:

Apply your knowledge of complex electronic systems and associated safety issues. Problem-Solving:

Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges. What we're looking for:

Leadership Experience:

Proven track record in leading and developing teams. Technical Knowledge:

Deep understanding of safety and system engineering processes, aligning with Def Stan 00-056. Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Teamwork:

Ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams. Degree or Equivalent:

Ideally, a degree in engineering or a related field. What's on offer:
