Safety Manager
Our public sector client is looking for a Safety Manager to support and manage safety risks associated with the organisation’s products, systems and services to reduce associated risks to as low as reasonably practicable. The Safety Manager is responsible for the development, operation, and continuous improvement of the Safety Management Plan, which includes the policy and procedures for the safety management of all products, systems, and services that have the potential to cause direct or indirect harm to individuals, property, or the environment. Formal training or qualifications in Safety Management Experience of developing BowTies Previous Safety Management experience/exposure Previous experience with leading safety investigations Previous experience leading Safety Panels / Committee Day to Day Responsibilities
Confirming change has gone through due process and governance; Managing safety processes and associated documentation; Promoting a Safety Culture; Monitoring safety-related occurrences and the impact on Safety Cases; Ensuring the organisation’s Safety Management System is implemented; Producing and managing safety documentation in preparation for the Safety Control Board and Safety Board meetings; Acting as a member of Safety Management Review Panels for Safety Cases.
