Woodcock Road Surgery have an exciting and rare opportunity to join our small resilient team in the heart of Norwich. Our three partners Dr Allison Macnab, Dr Raija Blenk and Dr Louise Shinn welcome applicants seeking 4-8 sessions a week. The clinical team is supported by a skilled and well organised administration team. 6 weeks annual leave plus 1 week study leave (pro-rated). Free refreshments and onsite car parking along with twice a year social events - summer and Christmas. Tier 2 sponsorship for eligible candidates. We use SystmOne for our Clinical system. We are a newly established training practice and we welcome GP Registrars on six monthly placements. Research accredited. We are fortunate with low home visiting rates and we do not currently support any care homes. Duty Doctor on calls shared proportionally based on sessions. We are Good CQC rated- November 2023. All applicants should have the following qualifications: Fully qualified GP with GMC registration. Be on the NHSE medical performers list. and skills, including: Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services. Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date. Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety. Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner. About us
