We are looking to recruit forward-thinking enthusiastic General Practitioners to join our team of salaried GPs working in our out of hours Urgent Treatment Centres. We have vacancies/various shifts available in Bishop Auckland and Durham centres. Our urgent care centres provide a home visiting service, telephone advice, and face-to-face consultations for patients requiring urgent and emergency care. Main duties of the job
Working on SystmOne in our out of hours service, you will receive referrals from 111, paramedics, and walk-in patients. You will be expected to prioritise and co-ordinate your workload in collaboration with the Shift Coordinator, which includes telephone and face-to-face consultations, laboratory results, home visits, and walk-in patients who attend our service with minor injuries and illnesses. You will be working alongside advanced practitioners and healthcare assistant/drivers. About us

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield, and Weardale as well as over 80 other community-based settings and providing care in patients' homes. Working in collaboration with our other centres and local Emergency Departments, we provide an out of hours GP-led urgent treatment service. DCH/DCCH and or DRCOG Statutory Registration
