Session Salaried GP Markinch Medical Practice is located in the small village of Markinch and serves a population of approximately 6100 patients from Markinch, Glenrothes, and the surrounding areas. The Practice is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Doctor to join our patient-orientated team. The ideal candidate will cover 4 sessions per week and will have a strong focus on high-quality patient outcomes. They will be enthusiastic about providing a high standard of medical services for the practice population, including day-to-day activities such as surgery consultations, duty doctor, telephone advice, telephone consultations, home visits, and will complete the appropriate administration to support patient continuity and quality of care. Key Duties:

4 Clinical Sessions per week with 15-minute appointments Purpose Built Practice Friendly and Cohesive Team all working towards high-quality outcomes EMIS and Docman Excellent support for professional development – opportunity for development of specialist interest. Strong emphasis on maintaining a good work-life balance We are a medium-sized Practice with 5 Partners and 1 salaried GP who are supported by an excellent Nursing Team. As a training practice for GP Registrars at ST1 and ST3 level, we have a strong commitment to professional development and value each team member’s individual knowledge, including how this can contribute to service improvement. Our Administration and Management Team are friendly and highly experienced in delivering patient-focused services. All of this ensures the whole team works closely to provide the highest quality of care to our Patients and Community.
