An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join our fantastic team at Baddeley Green Surgery 4 to 7 sessions per week. We are a friendly, well-organised practice. Our current team consists of 1 GP Partner, 2 Part Time Salaried GPs, 1 Long-term Locum GP, 1 Long-term Locum ANP, 1 Part Time Practice Nurse, 2 Health Care Support Workers, and an excellent management team with a full complement of administration support staff. Baddeley Green Surgery is a growing practice with a current list size of approximately 5700 patients. Our Clinical system is EMIS Web utilising Docman and electronic prescribing. We strive as a team to ensure we are providing the highest quality, efficient and effective services to our patients. Main duties of the job

To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population. The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract. Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance. Effective management of long-term conditions. Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests, and other associated administrative tasks. On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy, and guidance. Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload. Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process. Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice. Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) of the QOF. Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required. Contribute effectively to the development and maintenance of the practice including; clinical governance, training, financial management, and HR. Ensure compliance with the appraisal process. Prepare and complete the revalidation process. Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team. Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines. Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure. Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times. Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a culture of continuous improvement at all times. Qualifications

Fully Qualified GP MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT) Annual Appraisal & Revalidation (When appropriate) Current UK Driving Licence Evidence of Continued Professional Development Experience

Outstanding level of clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with that of an experienced GP. Experience of working in a primary care environment. Experience of continued professional development. Experience of QOF/QiF and clinical audit. Minimum of two years as a salaried GP. General understanding of the GMS contract. Experience of medicines management. Experience of ICB initiatives. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
