We are seeking an enthusiastic Salaried General Practitioner to join our established team and be a part of a Practice that really cares and makes a difference within the community. Although we are advertising for a salaried GP, there will be an opportunity for partnership in the near future. Northgate Surgery is a modern, purpose-built Surgery, operating its own dispensary serving approximately 7,000 patients. The practice is located within the Market Town of Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. Our list size is increasing due to the continued expansion of the town. Main duties of the job

The post-holder will be expected to undertake all normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care. Normal duties include face-to-face surgery consultations, telephone and video consultations, signing repeat prescriptions, reviewing patient test results and letters, and completing referral correspondence. Home visits are not frequent but may be required. Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g., prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety, QOF, and PCN DES. Contributing to evaluation/audit and clinical standard setting within the organisation. Attending training, Practice Meetings, and events organised by the practice or other agencies, where appropriate. About us

Northgate Surgery is a well-established practice based in the Market Town of Uttoxeter. We are a friendly and forward-thinking practice with some of our GPs having specialist interests in Women's Health, respiratory medicine, and Minor surgery. We strive to maintain a supportive team environment for clinical and non-clinical members of staff alike. Our clinical system is Emis Web, and we use DOCMAN for clinical correspondence. We use Teamnet for all practice policies and management. Our aim is to provide excellent clinical care to our patients, and we have a genuine, family-oriented, and personalised approach to our patients. CQC Rated as Good. Job responsibilities

A salaried General Practitioner working with a BMA contract. Salaried GPs are encouraged to participate in learning and training and multidisciplinary audit. GPs will typically work with a mix of either telephone or face-to-face pre-booked and same-day appointments, with full professional support always provided from the team. Inclusion on the Performers List. Contract: Permanent. 4 sessions per week with scope to expand this in the future. Payment of indemnity fees. Fantastic working environment. Person Specification

Experience

Fully qualified GP with GMC registration. Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate). On NHS England medical performers list. Enhanced DBS check. UK driving license. Current CPR certificate. Evidence of continued professional development. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
