Albrighton Medical Practice is a well-established and respected practice in the heart of Albrighton Village. We are part of the Southeast Shropshire PCN and work closely with the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin ICB. We have 5 GP partners all with multiple roles and an Outstanding rating with CQC. Alongside the Partners, we have 2 salaried GPs, 3 Practice Nurses (one of which is prescribing), 2 HCAs, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and a Phlebotomist. Our wider admin team uses their experience to provide workflow optimisation and efficiencies to release clinical time, all supported by an experienced forward-thinking Practice Manager.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced GP to join our established team. We provide the full range of NHS General Medical Services to our registered patients, aiming to provide personalised, quality healthcare. As a salaried GP, you will be supported by, and work with, a diverse multi-skilled professional team of clinical and non-clinical friendly staff, providing high-quality, person-centred, holistic nursing care to patients registered with the Practice.
Main duties of the job
As a Salaried GP, you will be expected to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and dealing with queries, paperwork, and correspondence in a timely fashion. You will also undertake duty doctor sessions in proportion to your sessions at the practice. Routine surgeries will comprise 14 appointments per session. About us

Hold full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) on the General Practitioner Register MRCGP Be included on the NHS England medical performers list Professional standing - Not prohibited from providing services due to regulation breaches (e.g., NHS Performers Lists Regulations). Not suspended from practice by the NHS or from the GMC's list of medical practitioners. Not subject to any interim suspension orders from the GMC under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983. Have a legal right to work in the UK Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff. Experience of working autonomously and being flexible with daily demands.
