Sales Account Manager
to join our client’s team, located in the Chelmsford area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in their continued growth and to develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring that they continue to deliver excellent service and exceed customer expectations. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with existing key accounts, as well as identifying opportunities for growth and new business development. Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients. Support the sales team to ensure smooth deal flow. Onboard clients, providing clear guidance through all processes. Act as the main point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service and ensuring their needs are met. Proactively share updates on new products, features, and enhancements with partners, trained to effectively communicate the value and benefits of these additions. Identify cross-selling opportunities to existing users, leveraging relationships and understanding of their specific needs and pain points. Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with partners across various job functions, including sales, marketing, project management and customer support. Update CRM systems daily to ensure accurate tracking of client interactions. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profit. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly targets. Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement. Your Background: Proven account management or similar experience. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels. Experience in delivering client-focused product portfolio based on customer needs. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent listening and negotiation skills.
