We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Analyst to join our team. The Sales Analyst will be responsible for analysing customer data to identify commercial opportunities, supporting the proposal process by integrating insights into proposal documents, analysing white space opportunities, and supporting telemetry data insights. This role is critical in driving sales growth and improving our market position. Responsibilities

Customer Data Analysis: Collect and analyse customer data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities. Use data to segment customers and understand their needs and behaviours. Develop actionable insights to inform sales strategies and tactics. Proposal Support: Collaborate with sales teams to gather necessary data and insights. Prepare comprehensive proposal documents that effectively communicate value propositions to clients. Ensure all insights and data are accurately represented in proposals. Monitor and evaluate proposal content and win themes to identify areas for improvement. Continuously refine and improve proposal processes, templates and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Work with the Account manager to develop competitive pricing strategies commensurate to the clients derived value from Fastmarkets products and services. White Space Analysis: Identify gaps in the market and opportunities for expansion. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis and client needs assessment. Provide recommendations for targeting untapped customer segments and regions. Telemetry Data Insights: Monitor and analyse telemetry data to understand product usage and customer engagement. Translate telemetry insights into actionable recommendations for sales and product teams. Support the development of predictive models to forecast sales opportunities. Analyse Customer Sentiment: Utilize Net Promoter Score (NPS) data and training survey feedback to gauge customer satisfaction and identify key areas of improvement. Integrate insights from customer sentiment analysis into sales proposals, ensuring that proposals are aligned with customer needs and highlight areas of strength. Leverage customer feedback to refine sales positioning and messaging strategies. Governance: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of sales pipeline priorities, ensuring that key opportunities are proactively supported throughout the sales cycle. Maintain comprehensive and accurate account plans alongside the Account manager. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align pipeline and sales execution activities, ensuring that resources are allocated to high-priority opportunities and strategies. Regularly assess the process and support structure for areas of improvement, ensuring continuous optimisation of sales processes and strategies. Reporting and Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports to track performance metrics. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and sales teams. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards. Stay updated on industry trends, market insights and emerging best practices. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product, and finance. Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to various stakeholders. Support the implementation of data-driven strategies and initiatives. Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Proven experience in sales analysis, data analysis, or a similar role. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Clari) is a plus. Knowledge of telemetry data and predictive analytics is highly desirable. Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse complex data sets and extract meaningful insights. Communication: Strong ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail in data analysis and reporting. Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Initiative: Proactive in identifying opportunities and solving problems.
