We are currently seeking a Sales and Administration Coordinator to join our team at our Welsh Slate Penrhyn Quarry. During the course of your working day you will be liaising with Sales, Operations, Finance and HR.

Key Responsibilities

Dealing with enquiries by telephone and email, including cash sales quotations and taking cash payments Sales/Purchase Orders and Administration, including handling and administration of purchase orders Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems in supply Develop an awareness of British Standards and existing test data relevant to roofing, architectural, hard landscaping, and crushed products. Producing reports for Commercial Director Chair weekly production meetings and generate meeting minutes Handling of incoming and outgoing post Keeping and recording employee attendance data (using T&A system) Arranging Corporate functions (catering, booking of hotels, etc.)

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Strong administration skills Strong organisational skills Ability to work on own initiative, managing own time and workload Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong IT Skills Experience of working in a sales environment is an advantage Data inputting skills Attention to detail and accuracy skills Experience working in construction is an advantage Ability to communicate with people at all levels
