As the Sales and Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships within the renewable energy sector. Leveraging from your existing networks and strong commercial acumen, you’ll identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and develop innovative strategies to expand their market presence. What You Will Be Doing – Identify and prioritise target markets, industries, and clients within the new energy industry. Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, decision-makers, and industry influencers. Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new partnerships and business opportunities. You will be hunting for new business amongst the Fortune 500 companies! Have your finger on the pulse with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform business strategy. What You Will Bring – A proven track record of success in senior business development roles. Have a proven background within the renewable energy, mining, and gas sectors or large infrastructure projects. Experience engaging at an executive level. You will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar role. Be a natural sales hunter, with experience of complex selling. Have exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Be a strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and strong commercial acumen. Have experience presenting and tendering to senior leadership teams.
