Our client, a market leader in property services, is seeking a Marketing and Sales Director to join their dynamic team in the East Midlands. In this critical role, you will play a key part in driving sales growth and operational efficiency. You will manage a team of up to 10 and develop and execute a winning sales strategy and ensure seamless collaboration across departments. This is a hands-on sales role offered on a hybrid basis. However, a strong team presence is essential for the success of this role. To truly run your department (while still collaborating) and work effectively with the wider business, you must have a deep understanding of your area. This role would suit a person who is a good influencer and able to work with and influence senior leaders within the business. They will have their head around transformation and forward-thinking strategies, at all times. Here's what you'll be doing: Lead and inspire your team: Recruit, train, and coach your team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Drive sales success: Develop and execute the overall sales strategy, including account-based marketing initiatives. Build strong client relationships: Develop and implement key account management strategies to secure repeat business and expand existing accounts. Streamline operations: Implement a new sales process, manage order processing flow, and ensure smooth handovers between sales and operations teams. Embrace change: Champion the implementation of a previously developed transformation plan to optimise sales performance. To be successful, you'll bring: Proven sales management experience: A track record of success in sales management, ideally within the house building or a related industry, with experience leading a team of at least 6 sales professionals. Strong leadership skills: The ability to motivate, inspire, and coach your team to achieve their full potential. Natural and proven examples of driving sales teams. Strategic thinking: A deep understanding of sales methodologies and best practices, with the ability to develop and execute winning sales strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Analytical mind: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to sales. Tech-savvy: Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools. The package:
