60,000 - 65,000 pa plus car allowance & benefits As a Sales Applications Engineer your remit will include: Configuring technical solutions from end customer specifications across our core vertical markets. Estimating resources and equipment required, using engineering software and tools as necessary. Preparing high-quality quotations and proposals using clear concise language, explaining technical solutions in detail and clearly capturing the offered scope of supply. Preparing system topologies and technical material to support proposals. Acting as an interface between sales and engineering teams and providing a high standard of technical support to the sales team. Attending customer sites as and when required. What you will bring to the company: Qualified to degree level in electrical/electronic or mechatronic engineering. Knowledge of systems integration concepts and technologies. Appreciation of core commercial concepts and common industry drivers. Proven experience using MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Visio. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Preferred Technical Experience: Knowledge and experience of some of the following: AC, DC & Servo VSDs (including the ability to size motors from first principles). PLC, SCADA / HMI, MES / MIS, Networks, Fieldbus Protocols, Mechanical Drives, Robotics, Safety Systems, Industry 4.0. What the company can offer you: Competitive salary.
