The Business Development Manager role is to proactively promote and sell the core IT and Infrastructure services portfolio of ONNEC to clients in our chosen market sectors. This primarily includes the utilization of new business generation and closing techniques, with a focus on relationship management through a consultative selling approach. Responsibilities: Uncover new business opportunities in a proactive and innovative manner. Achieve the annual set targets as agreed with the Sales Director. Ensure all clients within your responsibility are kept up to date with the products and services offered by ONNEC. Build personal and company relationships with all clients within your responsibility. Own and communicate Account Development for key/target clients. Ensure that all pricing, proposals, and tender documentation is returned in a professional and timely manner. Feedback client information to ONNEC. Monitor service levels provided by ONNEC against client expectations and escalate as necessary. Identify and develop a strong Web of Influence among all relevant stakeholders. Maintain relationships with external suppliers on pre-sales commercial issues. Own the end-to-end sales process through the lifecycle of sales projects, including Request for Proposal (RFP). Qualifications: Sales opening and closing techniques. Experience selling IT & Infrastructure and/or data center solutions to end-users. Understanding of the IT industry and its various elements. Strong business and commercial acumen. Familiarity with the RFP process. Experience utilizing Sales Database - CRM. Results-oriented and self-motivated. Computer literate - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Enthusiastic and dynamic personality.
