Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring the end-to-end sale for customers both face to face and on the telephone. Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times. Identify and assist customers with product selection. A commitment to high standards of customer service. Deal with all retail purchases and inquiries relating to our Tile and Bathroom products. Follow up on general phone inquiries, supporting the branch in all aspects of customer service, and converting them into successful sales. Establish customer contact, arrange appointments and visits to the showroom, and proactively develop new sales opportunities. Provide customers with a detailed and agreed specification and quotation based on their requirements. Maintain and build relationships with customers. Continually update your knowledge of products by participating in company and supplier training to achieve department sales targets. General housekeeping of the department to ensure all products are adequately stocked in a clean and presentable manner. Cash handling, operation of counter tills, and computer system. Work within other departments as requested to meet customer demands. Participate in company stock takes ensuring an accurate count of all stock. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements. Any other tasks as required to ensure the efficient operation of the department as requested by the Branch Manager. Work as part of the wider branch team to ensure the overall success of the branch and the brand reputation. Any other duties deemed reasonable.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills: GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above.
