Sales Consultant

to join our dynamic team at multiple sites across Nottinghamshire and Grantham. As the lead sales consultant, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the marketing suite, guiding customers through their journey, and ensuring a seamless sales process from start to finish. Competitive salary with annual bonus potential Mileage allowance for travel Up to 33 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays Private healthcare coverage Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption leave Generous pension plan with company contributions Life insurance (4x your annual salary) Share incentive scheme Access to an employee rewards portal with additional perks What we’re looking for: Strong alignment with our values: Integrity, Caring, and Quality Minimum of 5 GCSEs / GCEs, including Mathematics and English (C grade or above) A Levels in any subject Previous experience in a customer-facing role, working under pressure Experience in lead generation and sales via phone-based business development Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets Excellent IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office Comfortable with multi-channel communication Skilled in negotiation, customer service, and conflict resolution Detail-oriented, with excellent administrative and organizational skills An interest in property and the housing market Ability to work well under pressure and hit sales targets Flexibility in working hours and day-to-day duties Willingness to travel to various sales sites and regional offices Availability to work weekends Full driving license and access to a suitable vehicle A friendly, trustworthy, and professional demeanor Your role and responsibilities: Ensure the smooth running of the marketing suite, ensuring high standards at all times Assist the Sales Manager as needed to drive team success Actively generate sales opportunities by following up on leads and inquiries through calls and marketing materials Lead informative and engaging tours of the show home and development, delivering clear and persuasive sales pitches Negotiate with customers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes Leverage technology to innovate and adapt to changing market conditions Manage appointments effectively, ensuring they are scheduled and executed smoothly Stay well-informed about all homes, plots, and development progress to assist customers effectively Guide customers through the entire sales process, ensuring a positive experience every step of the way Promote excellent customer service, consistently exceeding customer expectations Collaborate effectively with the sales team to achieve company goals Regularly assess and improve the efficiency and profitability of each sale Ensure all customer interactions are properly recorded in the CRM system, in line with GDPR guidelines Provide regular updates to customers on the progress of their purchase Actively work to retain cancellations, renegotiating where necessary Maintain thorough knowledge of available purchase assistance schemes and alternative developments Conduct competitor analysis as required by the Sales Manager Take ownership of all company property and equipment across sites If you’re passionate about property and ready to take on a rewarding and challenging role, we’d love to hear from you!
