The Role: Our client is looking to recruit an experienced and professional Sales Coordinator based at their site in Southampton, Hampshire, who has the skills and competencies to successfully provide key sales support for the business.

Key Responsibilities: Dealing with sales, technical and service enquiries from an international customer base, usually by telephone, email or face to face. Processing sales orders through the system, along with providing quotes for customers. Making recommendations and promoting customer satisfaction. Providing efficient sales and technical support along with high-level customer service to approved service stations globally. Processing customer warranties. Supporting the marketing team with key projects including preparation for trade shows. Dealing with price changes - ensuring key accounts are notified and updated accordingly. Providing support for service and hire enquiries where applicable. Providing technical product support when possible, referring to the manager when necessary. Answering price enquiries, general enquiries and resolving any complaints. Responding to quote requests the same day. Ensuring accurate information is taken through questioning. Making outbound sales phone calls to low spend customers. Chasing quotes regularly to keep prices competitive and win all possible business. Covering the reception area when required and dealing with customers face to face.

Key Skills: The role demands a customer-focused approach with an emphasis on delivering high-quality customer service. Experience of working in a busy sales environment, being able to make outbound calls is essential. Ability to communicate effectively with all departments. Ability to provide marketing support is desirable but not essential as training can be provided. Ability to work to tight deadlines. The role requires a high level of flexibility, whilst the majority of the role is desk-based there is a requirement to give practical and logistical support for marketing events.

Benefits: Salary on offer is £26,000 per year. 25 days holiday + bank holidays (3 days of this is taken out automatically each year to cover the shut down period over Christmas). Company pension. Company events (Summer BBQ and Christmas meal out). Free parking.

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00.
