Analyze current Route-to-Market and identify opportunities to optimize internally but also in collaboration with third parties, such as agents, distributors or engineering companies. Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and proactivity. Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, translating insights into actionable plans. Key Account Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Collaboration:
Work closely with product development, marketing, and engineering teams to align sales efforts with product offerings and market demands. Communication:
Ensure seamless communication with sales and project teams, promoting a strong "One Team" ethos to support company goals. Realizing Synergies:
Identify collaboration and cross-selling potentials not only within the SFT division but also the other division and leverage these to drive the overall business for the company. Performance Monitoring:
Monitor sales KPIs, providing regular reports to senior management and adjusting strategies as necessary to meet objectives. Budget Management:
Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Your profile and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the industrial valves and pumps industry, preferably within separation and flow technologies. Proven negotiating skills with customers. Change management experience. Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing successful sales teams. Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of valves and pumps applications in industrial processes. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, market trends, and financial reports to inform strategic decisions. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. IT skills should include CRM and effective use of the MS Office suite including MS Teams. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
