intern IKEA Bristol are looking to welcome a Sales Department Manager to our sales team. In IKEA, we call this a Shopkeeper.

WHAT WE OFFER

• The Start Date of employment will 9th of February 2025, but can be discussed at interview. • The starting salary for this role is £32,180 per annum, based on competence and experience. • 39 Hours working 5 days per week, including 2 weekends per month. • We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• An enthusiasm for home furnishings and experience in selling, understanding customers and their needs. • Experience of leadership in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise and organise your own and others workload. • Business-minded with customer in focus to deliver results, ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives, open to change. • Leading others, you will have good communication skills that can enable building relationships with co-workers and customers.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Take responsibility for your department goals and secure that your action plan ensures the country priorities for your department are implemented in your store, you follow up and take action accordingly by using proven solutions and good examples. • You act quickly on commercial opportunities and take full responsibility for ensuring your shop is in excellent shape, clean, tidy, priced and full. • You develop a skilled team ensuring they all have the correct knowledge of the range and IKEA services, so that they can share this with our customers to provide an exciting shopping experience. • With people at the heart of what you do, you will work with succession to identify talent, whilst ensuring you have the right number of competent co-workers in the right place at the right time.
