Forestry is at the heart of our business, and we are looking for someone to focus on seeking profitable growth opportunities across forestry operations in Scotland. Our Forestry Sales Development Managers are integral to our business development aspirations and strategy.

About You: We are seeking a dynamic individual, with a passion for forestry, and an aptitude and enthusiasm for developing new business opportunities, building extended networks, developing strong working relationships, and nurturing our existing and prospective client base. Most of all you should thrive on creating opportunity, collaborating with colleagues from other parts of the business, and delivering complex and multi-faceted projects to grow our forestry business.

In addition, you will have:

A degree or equivalent qualification in Forestry/ Countryside Management or closely related land-based sector.

Good knowledge and proven working experience of the UK forestry sector including associated grants and funding opportunities.

Experience in project management.

An aptitude for business development.

Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills. Welsh language skills would be an advantage.

Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or another directly relevant professional body is desirable.

Full driving licence.
