Sales Development Manager

to work out of our branch based in

Manchester

in order to cover the corresponding region. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for initial client interactions and development of existing accounts. Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 Main Duties Communicate regularly with and build business relationships with key personnel of your designated customer base. Work together with the Branch Manager to identify new sales opportunities. Follow all potential leads/opportunities with customers. Obtain new accounts and grow them to maximize their potential. Maintain margin levels and increase where possible, as laid out by directors. React to specific sales needs as outlined by the Branch Manager, Operations Manager, or Directors. Effectively manage your diary, ensuring all calls and visits are recorded accurately onto the relevant systems (full system training will be provided). Responsible for maintaining and keeping cleansed your personal company ledger. Requirements/Qualifications Full UK Clean Driving License. Proven record of driving business development strategies to achieve business growth. Knowledge of the Builders Merchant / Construction sectors (Required).
