Job Description: Sage Earth, backed by Sage’s global presence, combines climate science expertise with cutting-edge technology to empower businesses to achieve net-zero goals. As an SDR, you’ll support businesses on their journey to sustainability, playing a key role in expanding Sage Earth’s reach in the financial services sector while growing your career in a purpose-driven, innovative company. This is a hybrid role – three days per week in one of our Bristol Hub. Key Responsibilities: Identify key decision-makers in financial services, fintech, and sustainability through outbound efforts like cold emails, calls, and social media outreach. Evaluate leads against criteria to align with Sage Earth's carbon measurement solutions and advance qualified prospects. Attend conferences, webinars, and networking events to identify leads and strengthen prospect relationships. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to enhance outreach, support demand generation campaigns, and provide feedback on lead quality. Keep CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) updated with accurate lead data and interactions for team visibility. Work with internal teams, sharing insights and feedback from prospects to inform strategies. Nurture leads from campaigns, events, and other sources into qualified opportunities. Stay informed on industry trends to tailor outreach and uncover new opportunities for Sage Earth. Help prepare for initial client meetings, gathering information to identify challenges and solution fit. Minimum Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in a similar SDR, BDR, or lead generation role, preferably within SaaS or the sustainability sector. Experience in ESG related fields will be prioritized and preferred. Proven success in generating leads and exceeding targets in a B2B environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with potential customers. Experience with sales tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Familiarity with carbon accounting, sustainability initiatives, or the financial services sector is a plus. Ability to effectively represent Sage Earth at industry events and conferences. Benefits: Competitive base salary and commission structure. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. Work away scheme for up to 10 weeks a year. Ongoing training and professional development. Paid 5 days yearly to volunteer through our Sage Foundation. Flexible work patterns and hybrid working. Working at Sage means you’re supporting millions of small and medium-sized businesses globally with technology to work faster and smarter. Our colleagues are the best of the best. It’s why we were awarded 2024 Best Places to Work by Glassdoor. We celebrate individuality and welcome you to join us if you embrace all backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and ways of working.
