You will have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar leadership role in FMCG manufacturing. You’ll be an inspiring leader for your team; you’ll nurture and develop them to succeed in everything they do. You’ll be diverse in your knowledge of FMCG and manufacturing. We're looking for somebody visible and present - your team and customers need access to you. You must be professional in your sales approach and have the ability to sell directly to business owners, Managing Directors, and CEOs. Ideally, you’ll be degree educated. Preferable experience will be from working in the chemicals, packaging, textiles, paper industries, and with FMCG products. You must be prepared to travel regularly to visit your customers around the UK. There will also be occasional overseas travel. You should be located either East or North Midlands, Cheshire, Manchester, Yorkshire, or Derbyshire and will work from home. About The Job

You’ll join as Sales Director. Reporting to the MD, you’ll manage a team of National and Area Sales Managers. You will create and implement strategic and tactical sales plans for the UK. This will include the development of the current marketing strategy. You will inherit several key customer accounts which have been nurtured over decades; you’ll continue to grow and develop these relationships, retaining the business. Communication will be a key part of your role, and you will need to liaise regularly with manufacturing, customer service, finance, and your sales team to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. You will be responsible for annual UK sales forecasting across all divisions. Driven by results, you’ll guide your team through periods of active growth. About The Company
