We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead client engagement and drive our mission to shape the future of Earth observation. Role Overview As Sales Director, you will lead strategic business development efforts, cultivating relationships with satellite operators, owners, and space agencies. Your technical expertise and deep industry connections will be instrumental in introducing these stakeholders to CATALYST’s advanced image processing solutions, guiding them in harnessing the full value of their satellite data assets. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies that drive new business and revenue growth across satellite and space industry markets. Build, nurture, and maintain relationships with high-level contacts in satellite operating and space agency sectors, understanding their unique challenges and aligning CATALYST’s solutions with their needs. Lead complex, solution-oriented sales cycles from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing. Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions address client needs and demonstrate CATALYST’s capabilities. Oversee account management activities, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further growth and partnership. What’s in it for you? Requirements Key Qualifications Extensive sales leadership experience in the satellite or space technology sectors, particularly with image processing, Earth observation, or data analytics products. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding high sales quotas ($2-5m+) in high-stakes, complex sales environments. Strong network within satellite operators, satellite owners, or space agencies, with demonstrated success in leveraging industry contacts to drive business development. Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to C-suite, to articulate CATALYST’s value proposition and support client decision-making. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with expertise in navigating long sales cycles and building lasting partnerships.
