Chichester Recruitment is excited to partner with a Chichester-based company offering advanced solutions to a variety of industries. They are looking for a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your technical expertise and sales skills in a customer-focused role.

The Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying opportunities, managing client relationships, and providing technical support. Ideally, you will have experience in the metrology or engineering sector and a passion for delivering tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow new business opportunities across target industries. Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients. Present technical solutions tailored to customer needs. Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process. Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver customer-specific solutions. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metrology, or a related field. Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team. Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing engineering role, ideally within the metrology or engineering industry. Strong understanding of technical concepts, with the ability to present them effectively to customers. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
