for a team of 11 enthusiastic colleagues, spread across the UK, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. Your focus will be fully on the North of the UK, which means that you will have the opportunity to travel and discover new opportunities! What does the job entail? As a Sales Engineer, you will focus 100% of your time on Industrial End user customers. Consider, for example, the food and beverage sector. You will be the trusted knowledge partner who visits these customers' factories and spots opportunities in their installations to optimise their pump, water treatment and control/automation systems to help the customer deliver their sustainability targets in water and energy. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Focusing on the UK market and identifying sales opportunities Actively chasing new customers and developing new sales opportunities within your region Engaging with customers, listening to their needs, and tailoring Grundfos' value proposition Identifying stakeholders and building long-term relationships Representing Grundfos at events, trade fairs and customer visits Monitoring the sales pipeline, orders and profit Working closely with internal stakeholders Who are you? Experience in the Industrial End User sector is a plus. You are able to understand technical processes and challenges and advise customers on suitable solutions Sustainability is in your DNA and you are passionate about Water and Energy conservation Commercial experience is required, where you have demonstrated that you are results-oriented and can adapt to a competitive environment Strong communication skills and persuasiveness to excite customers and build long-term relationships You have excellent collaboration skills Willing to travel throughout your region and have no problem with being on the road Driven to achieve success and achieve results Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management A team player who can work well with colleagues and internal stakeholders to achieve common goals What do we offer?
