Sales Engineer - Rural close to Thame - 35K to 40K DOE My client based in a rural location close to Thame is seeking a keen and dynamic Sales Engineer. Your responsibilities will include: Visiting customers and discussing the best products for their requirements; Preparing plans with detailed drawings, including project specifications and cost estimates; Coordinating and leading the installation team through the project, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times; Producing quotes in Sage; Producing parts and builds of quantity in AutoCAD; Completing technical and regulatory documents; Sales and service work including follow up; Client liaison, including telephone and site visits; Project management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Essential qualifications and skills: Engineering degree or BTEC Level 3 or Extended diploma in Engineering; AutoCAD LT - 2 Dimensional Drawings; BOHS P601/P602 - desirable but not essential, training available. The successful candidate will have: 3 - 5 years related work experience; Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations to clients; Knowledge of Sales; Advanced skills in critical software applications, such as AutoCAD LT 2 Dimensional Drawings, Microsoft Word, Access and Excel; Expertise in problem analysis, creative problem solving and design thinking; Up-to-date knowledge and technical skills required to design and operate core products and services. You will be covering the whole of the UK and visiting clients 2 or 3 times a week, and there will sometimes be overnight stays required, for which hotels will be booked and allowances given. The role is office-based, and you will have access to a company vehicle for work travel. Working Hours: 8.30am to 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch. 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and your birthday off. Pension. Yearly bonus. Salary 35K to 40K dependent on skills and experience.
