WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: As a Specification Sales Person at nVent Thermal Management, you will play a pivotal role in our sales and business development efforts. You will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) consultants and contractors, educating them about our industry-leading Raychem products, and driving specifications for our solutions in projects. Your will report to the UK/Ireland Thermal Sales Manager and your objective is developing our industrial and commercial product and local project business. You will lead and drive profitable revenue growth for nVent Thermal through promoting and implementing effective product sales and growth initiatives. This is an

home office based role , implying a

travelling percentage of around 70% of the time , with minimal overnight stay required. You are a brand ambassador for Raychem products! Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the M&E consulting and contracting firms. Identify and target potential clients to expand our customer base. Ensure strong collaboration with M&E consultants to influence project specifications, ensuring that Raychem products are included in project plans. Develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio and their applications to provide high-level technical support and assistance. You are always up-to-date about industry trends, competitor products, and new technologies! Coordinate and conduct training sessions, seminars, and webinars for M&E consultants and contractors to enhance their knowledge of Raychem products. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market feedback. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends. YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in specification sales within the construction or electrical industry. Strong technical competence with strong capability to understand and explain sophisticated engineering concepts. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. A valid driver's license. Strong advantages: Basic knowledge of electrical heat tracing or low voltage electrical power distribution. Detailed knowledge of one or more of the following fields: HVAC, Building Control, Building Services.
