With a strong reputation for technical expertise and innovation, we are expanding our sales team and seeking a Field Sales Engineer with a strong background in electrical products or electrical component sales.

As a Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with new and existing customers, providing technical sales support, and driving business growth within your designated region. Your expertise in electrical components and systems will be key in delivering tailored solutions to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development:

Identify and secure new business opportunities within key industries, including OEMs, panel builders, system integrators, and end-users. Account Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business. Technical Sales Support:

Advise customers on electrical products, components, and solutions, ensuring they select the right products for their applications. Solution Selling:

Understand customer needs, offer tailored solutions, and create value by demonstrating product benefits. Sales & Revenue Growth:

Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company's overall growth strategy. Product Demonstrations & Training:

Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and partners. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Work closely with engineering, technical support, and customer service teams to deliver the best solutions. Market & Competitor Analysis:

Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in electrical engineering. Travel:

Regularly visit customers across the designated sales region, attending industry trade shows and networking events as required.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

Proven experience in a Field Sales, Technical Sales, or Sales Engineering role within the electrical components industry. Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of electrical components, systems, and applications, including products such as switchgear, connectors, relays, power supplies, control panels, sensors, motors, and automation products. Sales & Relationship Building:

Ability to develop strong relationships with technical and purchasing teams. Commercial Awareness:

Ability to negotiate, identify new revenue streams, and maximize profitability. Problem-Solving Skills:

Capability to provide technical solutions to meet customer needs. Self-Motivated & Target-Driven:

Strong ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and exceed targets. IT Proficiency:

Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools. Full UK Driving License:

Essential for visiting customers across the sales territory.
