Sales Engineer
to be based out of the main office in Plymouth, MA. Responsibilities: Present and sell company technical products and services to new and existing customers Prospect and contact potential customers Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline Resolve customer inquiries and complaints Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments Create sales material to present to customers Qualifications: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields Familiarity with CRM platforms Ability to build rapport with clients Strong negotiation skills Deadline and detail-oriented BA or BS degree. BS in Engineering required. Additional Information: Knowledge of control valves, flowmeters, control systems, moisture sensors, and fire protection or explosion protection systems would be helpful. Duties include but are not limited to: sizing, pricing and recommending fluid control instruments for sensing and control applications for customers in the Biopharm, Semiconductor, Wastewater, Power, and OEM markets; preparing and issuing product quotations; working on construction project bids; completing sales orders and purchase orders. Good communication skills required. Position is full-time with salary, commission, benefits, and 401(k) plan. 4 to 5 years technical sales experience required. Position requires some travel to customer sites in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
