If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join a large steel stockholding and processing company, based on the outskirts of Dudley/Kingswinford. You will be part of the laser cutting and folding team, so having experience in sheet metal fabrication is preferred.
The primary role of the Sales Estimator is to provide a viable quotation to meet our customer & company requirements. The ability to draw profile parts for both Laser processing/folding to customer specifications & achieve optimum material utilisation is key. Effective communication with the Laser Services team and customers is essential for this position. The candidate should also be highly motivated and an effective problem solver.
Main requirements:
Create a quotation which is viable for the customer and company The ability to draw in a CAD system. The ability to nest profiles to ensure we maximise material utilisation. The ability to interpret technical drawings. Order Processing and contract review. Provide resolutions to customer queries. Experience of the laser and folding market would be advantageous. Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metal specifications is expected. Excellent attention to detail. Carrying out other duties as you may be requested by management.
Details: Basic salary up to £35,000 (depending on experience) 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday 2.00pm finish on a Friday 25 days holiday + stats Bonuses (discussed at interview)
