Office based sales estimator required for a fast-paced manufacturing company, estimating architectural metal work components and assemblies, materials and processes including turret punching, routing, Press Brake Forming, Welding, Assembly together with obtaining costs from sub-contract suppliers for finishing operations. Customer liaison regarding pricing / lead times and delivery schedules.
Main Responsibilities:
Estimating architectural metal work.
Manage and maintain relations with existing customers
Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers
The candidate will be expected to follow up estimates, negotiate and secure orders.
Liaising with production ref lead times/delivery schedule
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
Attention to detail a must.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to understand and interpret technical Drawings.
Minimum of five years’ experience developing new business for construction related firms, additional years of experience may substitute for bachelor’s degree.
