Shorterm group are currently working with a precision engineering company who are based in Leighton Buzzard. They manufacture components for a variety of industries including Aerospace, Defence, F1, Oil & Gas, and many more.
They are looking for a
Sales Estimator/Quotation Engineer
to join their team.
Responsibilities include:
Dealing with and processing of sales orders, enquiries, queries, and quotes. Receiving sales orders and liaising with customers regarding product specifications, order detail, delivery, and special arrangements. Regular liaison with customers building great customer relationships. Create timely and accurate estimates and quotations from customer enquiries and technical drawings. Producing quotations to deadlines - estimating all machining, materials, and inspection times for in-house elements and incorporating externally sourced elements such as sub-contract when applicable, developing new and existing supplier relationships. Understand and identify machining methods of manufacture and select accurate cycle times (CNC Turning & Boring experience a distinct advantage). Liaise with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Requirements:
Must have strong knowledge of precision engineering, machining capabilities, and engineering processes. Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
Package:
£35,000 + per annum DOE Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2:30pm 28 days holiday + Christmas off Pension scheme Health care scheme Free parking
