An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis. Preparing proposals for our products and services Maintaining and updating the product database Costing material, labour, and production costs and liaising with external suppliers Working with the technical team to provide product education to our customers on what is achievable to suit their project and budget needs Striving to build long-term relationships with both new and existing customers and suppliers Taking ownership of the estimate, actively bringing it to a conclusion (contract award, loss etc.) & seeking feedback from the client where applicable Minimum Requirements
Previous experience in an estimating role Attention to detail and methodical thinker Effective communicator Steel/Aluminium fabrication experience desirable but not essential; however, must have an understanding Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) What's Next:
