The Sales & Event Team Executive is a dynamic and developmental role designed for an individual eager to build their career in a fast-paced and innovative industry. With a strong emphasis on critical thinking, problem-solving, and market analysis, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives that drive business growth. It involves conducting in-depth competitor and market research. You will manage key relationships with memberships, oversee high-impact submissions such as awards, and play a vital role in elevating the company's industry presence.

Working on a remote / hybrid basis with occasional travel to the office when required. A full UK driving licence is required.

Sales & Event Team Executive Requirements & Responsibilities:

Event Organisation:

Plan and manage all events, including booking stands, organising equipment and merchandise, and ensuring smooth execution. Coordinate meetings with delegates, companies, and team members attending events. Research and arrange travel and accommodation for event participants. Maintain and update the exhibit day schedule. Attend and support events/expos, including set-up, take-down and on-site assistance for Business Development Managers (may include international travel). Collaborate on merchandise designs and approvals. Assist in organising client demos and site visits, including catering, room bookings, travel and entertainment arrangements.

Team Development and Support: Support pipeline meetings between Business Development and finance teams. Conduct competitor and market research. Manage relationships with memberships and oversee submissions, such as awards.

Administrative Duties: Update presentation slides and datasheets. Organise and maintain folder systems for memberships, exhibitions and security passes. Manage the CRM platform. Write board slides and prepare Board updates. Submit press releases and manage external communications. Manage shared inboxes.

Cover for Bid Management Tasks: Maintain the bid library and folders. Track and update live opportunities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Maintain and update portal logins, ensuring bid information is up-to-date. Manage portal updates for bids and opportunities. Keep technical responses, product details and datasheets current.

Skills and experience: Critical thinking, adaptability and problem solving are desired attributes. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to conduct detailed market research and competitor analysis. Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
