About the Role: As we enter 2025, we are introducing a brand-new role at Manor House for a Sales & Events Co-ordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in growing our corporate Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events business. As the Sales & Events Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for driving revenue by identifying and securing corporate clients and managing the planning and execution of their events. Reporting to the Weddings Sales Manager, you’ll combine your sales expertise with outstanding organisational skills to deliver exceptional experiences that showcase the charm and professionalism of Manor House. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy to increase MICE bookings, focusing on corporate clients. Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. Coordinate all aspects of events, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless execution. Respond to email enquiries (within 24 hours max), by calling the client over the phone as an initial first response. Conduct show rounds, following up with detailed quotations and a summary of the appointment. Work closely with the operations team to communicate client requirements and deliver exceptional service. Organise site visits and presentations to showcase our facilities and services. Maintain an up-to-date CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Represent Manor House at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows. Assist the weddings and operational team when required to do so. About You: Proven experience in sales, ideally within the hospitality or events industry. A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
