Sales Executive Based at our Abingdon office, we are looking for a Sales Executive who has fantastic customer service experience and a flair for business development. We have a well-established sales team who will support you on your development journey and ensure you have all the tools and training you need to be successful in your career. Position Overview Reporting to the Sales Director, the role's key focus is around delivering a first-class service to our clients and growing our portfolio of clients. Communicating effectively with colleagues, customers and suppliers and converting enquiries into sales orders. You will often be the first point of contact for our clients and suppliers so the ability to build relationships, deal with queries efficiently and prioritise your workload is essential for this role. Essential main job functions: Respond to incoming queries via email and telephone Proactively approach target clients to generate new business Maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business Generate client quotes within a timely manner and follow up as appropriate Prepare sales brochures in advance of meetings Ensure the internal sales system is up to date with order details Provide key sales metrics and KPI updates for monthly sales meetings Provide reporting on the progress of customer orders as required Accurately enter customer information, product information, and pricing into the internal database Update customer records with new contact details and notes as and when required Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and delivered within KPI’s Experience/qualifications required: Previous outbound sales experience with evidence of generating new business Excellent communication skills Strong IT and data entry skills Ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers A strong team player with a can-do attitude who is happy to get involved in various tasks when needed Ability to work to deadlines and at times under pressure Job Types:
