Brilliantin Recruitment are seeking a motivated and dynamic Car Sales Executive to join a well-known dealership in Bury St Edmunds. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cars and have excellent customer service skills, with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling new and used cars, offering exceptional customer service, and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicles. Guide customers through the car buying process, explaining features, financing options, and answering queries. Conduct vehicle test drives and provide detailed information on cars, including performance, features, and technical specifications. Meet and exceed monthly sales targets for new and used car sales, finance packages, and additional products/services. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Negotiate prices and trade-in values, ensuring profitability for the dealership while remaining competitive in the market. Finalise sales agreements, ensure all paperwork is completed accurately, and oversee the delivery process. Stay up to date on current inventory, new car models, and promotions. Provide exceptional post-sales support, including answering questions and resolving any concerns. Address any complaints or issues that arise during the sales process in a professional and timely manner. Maintain accurate customer records, sales logs, and inventory information. Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, legal requirements, and manufacturer guidelines.

Key Requirements:

Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry or a customer-facing role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with a diverse customer base. A passion for cars and knowledge of automotive brands, models, and trends. A self-motivated, results-driven individual with the ability to work towards targets. Excellent negotiation and closing skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. A full UK driving license is essential.
