Due to an increase in orders and continued growth, we have exciting opportunities for a Sales Executive to join a people-focused manufacturing business within Barnsley, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be working in a friendly team of 7 while reporting into the Sales Manager.
Duties within the role of a Sales Executive will include:
Managing current customer accounts and nurturing customer relationships. Proactively identifying potential new sales leads. Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell when liaising with customers. Building new connections with new or existing customers via email or phone. Confidently answering any customer enquiries or complaints. Liaising with the engineers to gain better knowledge of the product status. Producing proposals, compiling sales documents, presentations, and cost comparisons. Organising and creating sales reports, processing sales orders, and ordering product parts.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Sales Executive, Technical Sales Administrator, Sales Account Manager, or Internal Sales Representative within a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.
The successful Sales Executive will:
Hold LEEA qualifications. Have a great understanding and knowledge of chain lifting, hoists, and associated equipment. Have a strong sales background within engineering or manufacturing. Be able to use Microsoft Office 365. Show a positive attitude toward learning about products. Pay close attention to detail.
