To further fuel their growth, our Transport client is seeking to appoint a Sales & Development Executive to assist in the research, development and acquisition of new business from both existing and new clients in the Scotland area, ideally located close to Glasgow.
They are a market-leading Road Transport service provider with a fleet of five hundred trailers, a network of offices across six European countries and a reputation for delivering high-level service over a proud 45-year history.
They are owned by a highly successful Logistics Group based in Rotterdam and have unfettered access to their wide range of Air, Ocean, Road and Warehousing services.
They are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in International Road Services and excellent 'People Skills.'
Candidates should have a good general education and a very high standard of written and verbal communication.
Based in Glasgow, Scotland, the successful candidate will work as part of a closely-knit team but will have the confidence and ability to work on their own initiative to identify, contact and engage with clients to further expand our business through a combination of tele-sales and field-sales activity.
They offer a competitive salary package of circa £28,000 to £38,000, mileage allowance, bonus scheme and opportunities for career advancement within a dynamic group of companies.
We're looking for someone who has maybe 3 to 4 years of experience in European Freight Sales or European Operations and is a good communicator who wants to step up.
We're open-minded but ideally looking at a starting salary range of £28-£38k plus bonus. There is potential for the right candidate to go much further based on performance and personality.
