OA are recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our client, a respected designer and manufacturer of high-quality commercial and residential wallcoverings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and generating business opportunities through multiple methods, including the use of social media, telephone and portals as well as working in collaboration with the Sales Team.

Location:

Hemel Hempstead.

Hours:

Full-time, 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Office based however, there may be some field based work as the role progresses.

Salary:

£28,000

Sales Executive - Key Responsibilities:

Implement strategies as directed in order to identify then maximise business opportunity within targeted accounts. Identify prospective business from a variety of sources such as sample requests, enquiries, Internet searches, and customer referrals. This will include both warm and cold leads. Arrange follow-up calls with potential prospects. Investigate inactive accounts and implement strategies to re-activate them. Ensure all appropriate leads and opportunities are followed up in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure accurate and up to date records via the CRM systems. In liaison with the Managing Director, develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy for online interiors stores and e-commerce portals. Identify, initiate and cultivate relationships with key online interiors platforms, marketplaces and potential partners to maximize sales opportunities. Attend and contribute to regular sales and progress meetings/launches. Work with the team in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Sales Executive - Skills and Experience:

Previous success in a B2B sales or account management role. Previous experience in a field sales role. Strong customer service/sales experience. Professional telephone manner and an ability to confidently strike up a conversation. Highly motivated. Proactive. Computer literate. Ability to plan and organise. Calm under pressure.
