Our client is looking to expand within the distribution and logistics sector. The sales executive will be responsible for generating leads and turning leads into customers.
Specific Responsibilities:
Building a Shipping & Logistics sales strategy. Developing new accounts and opening avenues for new clients. Sensitizing the management on the latest trends in the market and competitive landscape and assist in developing new businesses, products, or service lines. Managing clients visits as and when required. Managing ongoing client relationships. Set up a CRM system.
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in sales and marketing ideally in Air freight, Express, Trucking, Shipping and 3PL (Third Party Logistics). An in-depth knowledge of the shipping & logistics market in the UK/Europe and Worldwide with a thorough understanding of opportunities in offshoring business processes. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. Ability to manage the sales process and forecast with precision. Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and credibility quickly. Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
Job Type:
Part-time hours (to be agreed), Hybrid remote in Bolney and Crawley.
Pay:
£23,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Additional pay: Commission pay Yearly bonus
