Due to growth, our client is looking for an ambitious sales executive to join their commercial projects specification team. This is a trainee type specification consultant role, where you'll be guided and supported in your professional development by the National Sales Manager and Specification Sales Manager, who combined have over 35 years experience working for this business. As Sales Executive, you'll work closely with architects, clients, housing associations and specifiers to generate specifications on their range of stylish and energy efficient timber, aluminium and composite windows and doors. Projects will typically be for the residential and education markets and typical size projects range between £50k-£1million+. For the 1st 6 months, 80% of your time will be doing joint calls with your colleagues to learn the business and route to market, before then flying solo, covering Architectural practices across North & North West London, Bucks, Beds, Herts, Berks, Oxon, Wilts & Glocs. The remaining 20% will be ensuring effective follow up and communication with other departments. You will be taught how to hold and run CPD seminars, to both increase brand awareness and assist architects' requirements. You'll be covering N, NW, AL, SG, MK, LU, HP, SL, RG, OX, SN and GL postcodes. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

Our client is looking for a positive, engaging individual, with a great attitude, who wants to learn and develop their career with a genuine market leader in the construction industry. Ideally you will already have some sales experience in the construction industry, or perhaps worked as a trainee architect, estimator or architectural technician and have a passion to move into a consultative, solutions led sales environment. You will ideally have a relevant construction industry qualification or a passion to get into the sector, perhaps a recent graduate. You will be a good presenter and good team player, ideally capable of reading and understanding construction drawings. If you have any experience in the windows, curtain walling or fenestration industry, then great. You will be IT literate and have a growth mindset. Basic salary of £27,000-£30,000 dependent on experience. Annual bonus potential of circa £10k. £6k car allowance, plus mileage allowance. 25 days holiday, with the option to buy up to 5 additional days holiday. Birthday off. Pension contribution of 5% from the employer and 4% employee. Private medical cover after a qualifying period. Mobile, laptop. 3x death in service cover.
