Sales Executive Who we are: Welcome to This is Beyond, a dynamic and forward-thinking B2B events company based in the heart of West London. From our humble beginnings as an ambitious startup, we've swiftly risen to become a global leader in pioneering B2B events that redefine industry standards. Renowned as thought leaders in the luxury travel sector, we've left an indelible mark by spearheading innovative approaches and cultivating fervent communities around distinct travel niches. Our diverse portfolio boasts a mix of groundbreaking global travel trade shows tailored for elite influencers and trendsetters. At This is Beyond, we're relentless in our pursuit of crafting unparalleled experiences. We meticulously curate our guest list, recognising that chemistry is paramount, and we vehemently reject mundane formats. Prepare to be immersed in exclusive, inspiring environments that blur the lines between work and leisure - because that's where true business brilliance thrives. Join us on our journey, where innovation knows no bounds and excellence is the standard. The role: Are you ready to be part of something extraordinary? At Further East ( https://furthereast.co/ ), we’re redefining what it means to connect in the luxury travel world. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Seminyak, Bali, this isn’t your typical trade show — it’s a festivalised gathering where business is anything but boring. Imagine building connections barefoot under the sun, where deals are sealed with a handshake and turn into partnerships that last a lifetime. We’re looking for a dynamic and ambitious Sales Executive to join our team and play a key role in shaping our flagship event in Asia. You’ll be at the heart of it all, recruiting exhibitors and buyers who share our vision for doing business differently. If you love meeting targets, nurturing relationships, and growing with an event that’s all about innovation and inspiration, this is your chance to step into something truly special. What you will do: Lead Generation: Significantly increase the number of new leads in the database through innovative sourcing methods and networking efforts. Application Processing: Ensure timely processing and response to exhibitor and buyer applications, maintaining an active and relevant database of clients/prospects. Database Management: Administer the online system for exhibitor (luxury hotels) and buyer (luxury travel agents) registrations, ensuring accurate data input and facilitating appointment matching. Event Logistics: Oversee the day-to-day management of the exhibitor supply chain, including hotels and appointed DMC (Destination Management Company), and liaise with exhibitors and buyers during the event. Reporting: Produce and present weekly, monthly, and other regular reports to track progress and performance against sales targets. Market Research: Attend competitor events to stay updated on industry trends, identify potential clients, and network with existing clients to support revenue targets. Develop the prospect universe in the database to facilitate lead generation and share market intelligence with the team. Sales Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing the exhibitor and buyer sales strategy as defined in the annual show/s business plan. Select and qualify coveted exhibitors to ensure a high-quality show/s. Revenue Strategy: Proactively sell additional delegate badges to generate revenue for the event and achieve monthly exhibitor targets set by the Event Manager. Achieve annual exhibitor figures and monthly exhibitor targets set by the Event Manager. Customer Retention: Maintain high levels of customer retention and generate new business to drive revenue growth. Client Relationships: Plan and implement sales calls and international sales trips to conduct regional research and develop client relationships. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and event management, to ensure alignment on event goals, seamless delivery, and an exceptional experience for exhibitors and buyers. What you will need: Previous experience (minimum 1-2 years) in luxury travel or hotel sales. Proven success in delivering targets in a fast-paced environment. Specific industry and market knowledge advantageous. Familiarity with Salesforce, Certain, or other CRM/Event Management systems preferred. Passion for luxury hospitality/travel and strong salesmanship qualities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and resolve problems efficiently. Proactive and innovative thinker with a track record of meeting targets individually and as part of a team. Willingness to travel extensively and globally as required. Proficiency in email applications, diary management, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills. Comfortable communicating and selling to people at very senior levels within client organisations. Willingness to travel and work flexible business hours as required. Capacity to work flexible hours as required when on-site. Benefits:
