THE ROLE

Our award-winning, Newark based client is looking to appoint a driven, enthusiastic and hardworking Sales Executive to join their busy sales team on a full time, permanent basis.

The successful Sales Executive will work with an established customer portfolio to convert a large quantity of warm leads and enquiries. Key responsibilities will include: Processing orders, actively checking lead times and progress of orders. Learning to utilize CRM and lead follow-up systems and processes. Developing a sound understanding of a wide range of products. Proactive and reactive sales call handling to grow business. Dealing directly with customers in all areas, liaising with other departments to ensure a great standard of customer service. Picking up enquiries and warm leads from customers and prospects looking for information and quotes for products. Creating quality written communications. Delivering sales against set KPIs. Ensuring adherence to codes of practice and business processes, not cutting corners. THE CANDIDATE

The successful Sales Executive will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Knowledge of CRMs and how to use them to improve lead follow-up and sales processing (HubSpot, Sales Force or similar). Experience of working in a customer-facing role, ideally in a sales capacity. Confident and quick learner with attention to detail and accuracy. Desire to succeed and grow in a sales role. Candidates must also be familiar with MS Office, particularly Microsoft Word/Excel. Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues to a high standard. Background of achieving targets.
