Business Development Executive
Required to work for a world leading Electronics manufacturing business based in Portsmouth. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join an already successful sales team. The ideal candidate will be from a number of industries including aviation, rail, Telecoms, Military but with an in-depth knowledge or experience of Electronics or Electrical component industries to aid product knowledge.
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients. If you are passionate about sales, customer satisfaction, building strong relationships with customers, and achieving targets, this role is for you! You will report directly to the Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target new sales leads and potential clients through research, cold calling, networking, and referrals. Generate new business by promoting our products/services to prospective customers. Develop and support new business opportunities, including new products and markets. Provide technical support to the customers about the range of products. Present and demonstrate the company's products/services to potential clients, highlighting their benefits. Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with clients to close deals and achieve sales targets. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and accounts. Provide ongoing support to existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business opportunities. Monitor and evaluate market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences. Use market insights to refine sales strategies and offerings. Support the team with implementation of strategies and promotions, e.g. mailings, exhibitions, advertising, etc. Collaborate with customer service, carrying out external visits and operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Experience Requested: Similar previous experience in Sales is ESSENTIAL. Experience in the Electronics industry is preferable. Working with Military, Rail, Aviation, and Highly regulated Industries. A person who can hold their own when talking to customers about more complex work. Excellent abilities in dealing with military, aviation, and highly regulated environments.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
Holidays:
25 days per annum + Bank holidays
