Sales Executive

to join our growing sales team to support the company’s growth across different global sporting events. Reporting to the Senior Sales & Commercial Manager, the Sales Executive will play an important role in managing and growing our corporate client base whilst supporting the wider team and company growth goals. This is a varied, hands-on role and on a typical day you will carry out the following: Execution of outbound sales strategies – be responsible for identifying prospects, analysing market trends and driving conversions, with focus on expanding the client database and establishing long-term repeat clients. Key client account management: Onboarding and ongoing engagement to nurture relationships. Sales Administration: Ensure efficient and accurate handling of all sales-related processes. Client Communication: Strong product knowledge and maintain clear and professional client communications, both written and verbal in alignment with Sportsworld’s values, creating lasting client relationships. Sales Reports and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports. Collate and analyse sales statistics, contributing to data-driven decision-making. CRM Utilisation: Utilise Sportsworld’s CRM system to deliver premium service to customers, track sales activities and generate reports for the wider team. Financial Administration: Obtain clients PO’s, invoices in timely manner. Event Support: Attend meetings with senior staff members, including clients, project teams, and suppliers, providing essential support and representing Sportsworld. Sales Proposals and Marketing: Collaborate with Sales Manager and Marketing team to create compelling sales proposals and marketing collateral. Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry and sports news, keeping an eye out for new opportunities to enhance our offerings. To be successful within this role, our ideal candidate will: Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar field (within the sports travel &/or hospitality industry would be highly advantageous) Demonstrate experience and passion for sales, with a track record of achieving targets and closing deals Possess excellent communication skills both written & verbal, enabling effective client relationship building Be confident in liaising with clients & 3rd parties including strong negotiation skills Have experience using a CRM system Possess an eye for detail, ensuring accurate reporting and efficient administration Exhibit good time management and prioritisation skills in managing multiple tasks and projects Be a self-starter who is confident hosting client meetings independently Be a team player with a can-do attitude, willing to contribute to the success of the team and the company Share a genuine passion for sports and travel, reflecting our company’s ethos Be willing to occasionally travel both domestically & internationally for work purposes So if you have a passion for sports, and are looking for your next challenge, take a look and get in touch we'd love to hear from you!
