The person will be required to liaise with new and existing customers, identify specific material requirements, and secure material schedules for generating quotations. This will include drawing take-off and reviewing tender documentation. Working with the team, the individual will be responsible for chasing and securing orders from these quotations and ensuring that orders are progressed in line with customer expectations. The individual will also be responsible for generating new business through proactive projects targeting specific customer types and industries. They will work with the team to build strong relationships with existing accounts and continue to grow sales. Main Duties

You will be required to assist a small but dedicated team of individuals in providing quick and accurate advice to customers on the best solutions. The company deals with a number of customer types within the industry, including installers, merchants, and homeowners. The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service levels, including pricing, technical assistance, and producing material schedules from customer drawings. Following up quotations and proactively calling customers Working with the team to target new customers and generate repeat business opportunities Dealing with customer enquiries Answering the telephone Processing orders Candidate Preferred Requirements

The successful candidate can have: Experience within a customer-focused environment Experience within the building/roofing industry is preferable but not essential The ability to communicate well at all levels with excellent interpersonal skills Work in an organised and methodical manner
