We are a rapidly growing Accountancy group. As such, we are investing into our accounting and finance capability internally to enable the continued growth and provision of these tailored services - resulting in the newly created Credit Control Assistant

vacancy. This is a crucial role for our company, working for the Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible to uploading bank statements, allocating receipts and providing on time financial reporting. We are looking for someone who is not satisfied until each £1 is properly accounted for and is ready to take responsibility for getting things done properly, and who takes huge pride in their work. Key duties of the role will include : Posting receipts and allocating to the ledger Reconciling the receipts posted for multiple bank accounts on a daily basis Assisting with the integration of new acquisitions into the business. Ensuring clients money is received into the correct account and allocated in accordance with agreements in place. Ensure customer refunds are appropriately authorised and processed Ensure notes within the system are kept up to date to assist the credit control process and enable effective monitoring of the debtors Chasing and escalation of client queries within the business to ensure agreed resolutions are actioned to facilitate payment Assist the credit control team by chasing client payments by telephone, email, and letter to ensure cash is received in a timely manner and to the agreed payment terms Attend monthly meetings with the credit control team and office leaders, either via teams or at the office This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth organisation at a pivotal time in their growth journey. The successful candidate will ideally: Have a minimum two years of experience within a credit control environment Possess excellent Excel knowledge and capability Show great organisation skills and have the ability to work under pressure Demonstrate attention to detail and a high concern for accuracy Good communication skills and telephone manner.
